Sadly, for Price is Right fans, the Bob Barker era ended Friday, with the airing of his last show. A viewer alerted us that one of Bob Barker's famous microphones was for sale on eBay by someone in Green Country. The News On 6â€™s Rick Wells reports the sale's being coordinated in an Owasso living room.

Marc Green is in his favorite Price is Right watching spot, with his cell phone, the remote and his lap top.

"Just in the time we've been talking, I've received four questions about the microphone," Green said.

He put it up on eBay on June 5th, the day the last show was taped. The opening bid was one penny.

"It's gone from a penny and at this moment in time it is $19,718," said Green.

Green went to the show as a possible contestant but never got on. Better than that, he developed a friendship with the producer that's lasted almost a decade.

"I've probably seen 80 to 90 shows, live from backstage," he said.

In fact, the last time out there he and his Internet partner, John Sly from Pennsylvania, heard they were planning to sell a mic for charity for $1,000.

It's one of those long skinny mics Bob Barker is famous for. Green is coordinating the sale from Owasso. The mic will be shipped to the buyer from California.

Over the years heâ€™s acquired some show souvenirs, an autographed script, a Barker bobble head, even one of those showcase showdown price cards. He is truly one fortunate fan.

â€œI'm really lucky. That's all I can say,â€ Green said.

The bidding on the mic closes at 8 p.m. Friday. Green and his Internet partner operate a website which contains more than 3,000 back stage pictures and lots of information about the show.
