Murder Suspect Arrested

A man wanted in connection with a Tulsa murder is now behind bars. Lyndell Dabney was arrested on Thursday. Prosecutors charged Dabney earlier this week with first degree murder in the March 3rd shooting death of 27-year-old Demonzo Washington. Washington was found dead in front of an abandoned house near 1200 North Boston. He’d been shot in the head, authorities said.
Dabney has prior convictions for possession of a stolen vehicle, drug possession and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. He’s being held without bond in the Tulsa County Jail.
