Sampson happy with Sooners starting lineup

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma basketball coach Kelvin Sampson says he plans to keep the starting lineup that began Wednesday night's game against Nebraska.

David Godbold and Lawrence McKenzie started in place of Drew Lavender and Jaison Williams and 21st-ranked OU snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Cornhuskers 83-to-60.

Sampson says the new lineup seemed to have more energy and he praises Lavender's play coming off the bench.

Lavender scored ten points and had two assists in 21 minutes. Williams scored ten and had four rebounds in 12 minutes.
