Updated:
GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) _ A 13-year-old Tryon girl is recovering from injuries she received after being hit by a motorcycle while walking along a Logan County road about 11:30 Saturday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Ashley Culie was running back and forth on Coltrain Road when she ran in front of a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 62-year-old Leroy Johnson of Edmond.

The OHP says the girl was thrown about 50 feet from the point of impact, while Johnson was thrown more than 60 feet.

Culie was taken to an Edmond hospital, where she was listed in good condition. Johnson was treated and released at the scene.
