Idabel man killed while riding four-wheeler

BROKEN BOW, Okla. (AP) -- An Idabel man has died after wrecking his four-wheeler while riding in the forest in southern Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Larry Ronald Junior died at about 3:45 Sunday afternoon after he was thrown head first into the ground after his four-wheeler went down a steep creek embankment.

Ronald had been riding on a four-wheeler trail on a National Forest property in McCurtain County.

Ronald was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby hospital.
