Oklahomans tired, not surprised that election isn't decided

Updated:

(Oklahoma City-AP) -- While the nation awaits word from Florida on who the next president will be, some Oklahomans say they aren't surprised the results are still up in the air.

Retirees Charles and Jean Dobson of Oklahoma City say they watched the returns until one a-m before going to bed. She says when they got up at four this morning they weren't surprised to learn the race is still to close to call.

Charles Dobson blames what he calls ``misguided'' youngsters who supported George W. Bush for making the race a tossup.

Odessa Horn of Oklahoma City says she went to bed at eleven-thirty last night knowing that the race would be decided in Florida. She says she's disappointed and tired, and that when she votes, she wants it to be finished.

Election officials in Florida say a recount of the vote could be complete by tomorrow afternoon.
