Sooners, Cowboys to meet again in Big 12 tournament


OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Oklahoma and Oklahoma State baseball teams, which closed out the regular season by playing each other in a three-game series, will meet again in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.

Oklahoma is seeded fourth in the tournament and Oklahoma State is seeded fifth. The teams will play at 5 p.m. Wednesday at The Ballpark in Arlington.

The Sooners (33-23) won two of three from Oklahoma State to wind up 15-12 in conference play. The Cowboys (37-19) finished 13-13 in the Big 12.

Oklahoma State won the first game of the series, 11-7 in 14 innings, before Oklahoma won the next two games, 5-2 and 8-6.
