(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State's women's cross country team is preparing for the Cowboy jamboree.
Georgetown University has agreed to take part in this year's event. Georgetown's cross-country squad is ranked eleventh in the nation in the most recent national poll and will be the strongest competition the Cowgirls will have seen this year.
The Cowgirls will also see Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas Tech from the Big 12 Conference.
The Cowgirls were scheduled to be in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Saturday. They were given the weekend off with the rest of the conference in response to Tuesday's terrorist attacks.
