OU injuries

(Norman-AP) -- Nate Hybl will start at quarterback for Number Three Oklahoma this week against Texas AM. Two-way player Andre Woolfolk will miss the game.

Hybl started the first six games before Jason White was named the starter. White injured his left knee against Nebraska and didn't play Saturday in a 58-0 victory over Tulsa.

Coach Bob Stoops says White is ``very doubtful'' for the AM game. Stoops says Hybl earned the start with his play against Tulsa.

He was 36-of-48 for 347 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions.

Meanwhile, Stoops says Woolfolk will miss 3-to-4 weeks with a knee sprain.

Woolfolk plays cornerback and receiver and on special teams for the Sooners.

The coaches have talked often about Woolfolk's ability, but Stoops says the team will survive his absence.
