Western Oklahoma under a 'Red Flag Fire Alert'

Very dry conditions across the western half of the Sooner state have lead to a Red Flag Fire Alert.

32 Oklahoma counties are under the alert. Texas County, in the panhandle, is also under a burn ban.

Everyone is urged to be extremely careful, and contact the state Agriculture Department and local fire officials before burning outdoors.
