A Tulsa man has met the new Prime Minister of Iraq. Terry Law of World Compassion Ministries just returned from his fourth trip to Iraq. Law, along with several others from Tulsa, got back from Baghdad this week.

News on 6 anchor Terry Hood says with so many people living in fear after the recent beheadings of hostages in Iraq, some might wonder why Terry Law continues to venture across enemy lines. He arrived in Baghdad on June 16th with 30,000 Bibles and $50,000 worth of medicine.

Iraq's new Prime Minister Ayad Allawi had heard of Law's ministry and the aid it has given to IRAQ over the years. Law says Allawi met with him to thank him for his work. That work hasn’t been without its dangers.

Before he even landed in Baghdad, Law and his team came under enemy fire. "When we got on the airplane, the pilot told us, were gonna make a power dive when we get to Bagdad because of incoming RPG rocket fire, so you better make sure your seatbelts are on and just hang on for dear life."
