Fatal traffic accidents up this year compared to 2003

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Fatal accidents on Oklahoma's roadways are up compared to this time last year. <br/><br/>The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there have been 439 fatal accidents so far this year.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Fatal accidents on Oklahoma's roadways are up compared to this time last year.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there have been 439 fatal accidents so far this year.

Last year at this time 357 fatal accidents had been reported.

While the number of fatal accidents is up, the numbers are down for July.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there have been 32 fatal accidents this month. Last July 48 fatal accidents were reported.
