Overnight Stabbing And Fight Under Investigation

A man is hospitalized and his friend taken into custody after a fight leads to a stabbing in Tulsa overnight. 37-year-old John Richmond managed to get to the Home Depot at Ninth and Elgin for help around 10:40 pm Monday. Tulsa Police say Richard is hospitalized with two stab wounds but will recover.

Police say the victim told officers he had gotten into a fight with 46-year-old Leon Phoenix over drugs. Phoenix told Tulsa Police he felt threatened and stabbed Richmond in self-defense.

Sand Springs Police are looking for three suspects involved in a fight that sent one man to the hospital overnight. Police say officers were called to Torchy's Bar at 105 South Adams Road around 1 am Tuesday. Upon arrival, Sand Springs Police say they found a male victim who had been punched.

The unidentified victim had to be resuscitated and was alive when EMSA transported him to a Tulsa hospital.

Sand Springs Police are still trying to piece together what led up to the fight.
