Gang Rape-Teens (WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ A judge ordered an 18-year-old man held without bail Saturday after he was charged in the gang rape and beating of a woman and her son.

Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Moses Baker Jr. issued the order to Tommy Lee Poindexter.

Poindexter is set to appear in court Monday with three other teens who are also charged. All face possible life sentences in prison if convicted.

Poindexter was indicted Thursday on 14 counts, including sexual battery, kidnapping and burglary.

The teens are accused of repeatedly raping and sodomizing the woman, beating both her and her son and forcing her to perform oral sex on her son on June 18.

Poindexter's mother, Harriet Rogers, 44, said her son was home with her that night.

``I don't believe my son did that,'' she told The Palm Beach Post.

It was not immediately known if Poindexter had an attorney. Calls to the jail went unanswered.
