Woman Found Dead In Okmulgee

Okmulgee Police are investigating a murder.  Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation's Jessica Brown tells The News On 6 a woman was found dead inside an Okmulgee home around 10:30 Friday morning.

The home is located in the 400 block of North Bryan.  The age and identity of the woman are not yet known.  It is unclear if she was shot or stabbed.   Investigators describe the crime scene as gruesome.  The owner of the home was last seen around 7:30 Thursday night.
