A downtown Tulsa diamond-in-the-rough is about to be polished. The Mayo Hotel was built in 1925, but it's been closed for nearly a quarter century.
Now, a restoration company is working to bring back its luster. But, it isn't coming cheap. The renovation costs $40 million.
The historic hotel is supposed to open late next year. When it does, it'll include 72 loft apartments, 100 hotel rooms and a fine-dining restaurant.
