Overnight Accident Injures One

An overnight traffic accident sends one man to a Tulsa hospital.

The accident happened shortly before 1 a.m. Monday when the driver of a mini-van apparently fell asleep.

The mini-van hit another mini-van that was parked on the shoulder in the 13900 block of East Broken Arrow Expressway. Tulsa firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to get the man out of his vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital with internal injuries and 2 broken legs.
