A funeral service was held on Monday in Oklahoma City for the 78-year-old man who died Thursday when a crane fell on his car.
Winford Stafford and his wife were watching the crane hoist a steeple atop the new Grace Assembly of God church when the boom collapsed.
Oklahoma does not require crane operators to be licensed, but that could change when the Legislature reconvenes. Currently only 15 states and the District of Columbia require licensing for crane operators.
