Fewer Voters Participate In Election

Voter turnout was light for Tuesday's elections, nowhere near the level it was four years ago.

State election officials estimate less than 13% of registered voters cast ballots.  That's despite the best efforts of some groups, like the League of Women Voters and the Coalition for the American Dream.

They gave free rides to and from polling places all day.
