Man Dies In Accident

Police say a man was traveling at excessive speeds when he took an exit ramp. He was thrown from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating a deadly accident that happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday. Officers with the Tulsa Police Department say a man was traveling at excessive speeds southbound on Highway 169.

The man took the exit ramp from Highway 169 to I-44 westbound, when he lost control of the truck. He then went off the roadway and rolled the truck several times. The truck came to a stop on Skelly Drive.

Police say the man was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
