Body In River Identified

Authorities have identified the body found in the Arkansas River early Sunday morning.

BNSF railroad personnel called Tulsa Police on Sunday morning to report the body in the river.

Police officers found the body of 51-year old Sanford Peterson underneath the Interstate 244 bridge.

Police say Peterson was homeless and had been in the Tulsa area since May.

The cause of Peterson's death is pending.
