A contentious rezoning case in Midtown Tulsa could be nearing an end. The property in question is on the southeast corner of 41st and Harvard. A few years ago the city council rejected a plan to build a Wal-Mart there.

Now a developer is asking to build four smaller commercial buildings, including a 24-hour drug store.

One neighbor says he's worried about changing the zoning.

"Across the street has gone commercial, now our side is going commercial, where's it going to end?  The city's giving me no promises as far as what they're going to stop people from doing," said Josh McCormick.

The Planning Commission decided on Wednesday to put off a decision for a month, believing both sides are close to a compromise.
