Plans are moving forward in the potential recall of two Tulsa City Councilors. On Tuesday, two Tulsa residents filed recall petitions containing over 450 signatures.
The filers say Tulsa City Councilors Eric Gomez and David Patrick didn't involve them in the decision to build low income housing near Admiral and Yale.
"We're the people that oughta be in charge of what goes on in this city and we're not," said David Bell.
"I want neighborhoods to become aware and become a voice to be advocates to make sure that we're always at the table when the decisions affect our lives," said Julie Hall.
Gomez has said the decision to build the center was out of the city council's hands because the Tulsa Housing Authority controls the zoning rights.
