Task Force Picks Up Suspected Shooter

A man accused of shooting at an off-duty Tulsa Police officer is behind bars.

TULSA, OK -- A man accused of shooting at an off-duty Tulsa Police officer is behind bars. The Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force picked up Kevin Woodard on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill.

Officer Joe Gamboa was jogging earlier this month when he saw a man breaking into an SUV. When Officer Gamboa approached the man, Woodard allegedly turned and fired a shot.
