GLENPOOL, OK -- It's a number not known for its grit and glory, but to a group of guys in Glenpool the number zero means everything.

"We push ourselves to the limit, we expect to shut teams out and we expect ourselves to get the victory," said Glenpool linebacker Derek Pressler.

The Warriors have only allowed seven points all season, while shutting out four opponents.

"We knew our defense was going to be good but not this good," said Warrior defensive lineman Codey Zickefoose. "Putting up four shut outs is good. I see more shut-outs in the future."

"When Seminole scored that just made us furious," said Glenpool defensive lineman Tim Vanorsdol. "We don't like to be scored on and we figured it out that game. We're just going to continue to shut teams out."

For these zero heroes, it's about putting the goose egg on opposing teams and laying down the big hit.

"When we lay into somebody and they go backwards and you hear that big sound from a mile away everyone's just whooping and hollering. It's an awesome feeling and everyone's just pumped up, jacked up, just hitting you. It's awesome. There's nothing like it," Pressler said.
