Stolen Loot Recovered

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa police are trying to find the rightful owners of thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods. Burglary detectives got a tip that a suspect was running a fencing operation out of his home.

You've heard the expression everything but the kitchen sink. Police say that's what they found inside a home, floor to ceiling in stolen goods, the makings of a meth lab and a pipe bomb.

"Bomb squad's been called, they're gonna go in and take care of the bomb for us," said TPD Sgt. Brandon Watkins.

Burglary detectives say the pipe bomb was very unstable. Add that to the ingredients needed to make meth and they could have had a recipe for disaster. But the bomb was diffused and everyone made it out OK.

Now detectives are turning their attention to the loot found inside. Police say they recovered two enclosed white trailers full of everything from power tools to band equipment, like these drums and stage lights.

Police arrested Jason Baker, the owner of the home.

"We're not sure if he was stealing it right now or if people were bringing it to him to re-sell," said Sgt. Watkins.

Baker pled guilty to meth possession in 2001 and received a deferred sentence.
