UNDATED -- State officials say the drop in natural gas prices is a greater concern than lower oil prices.

That's because the revenue from oil goes into earmarked accounts and doesn't fund general operations of state government. But, a high percentage of the natural gas revenues go into the state's General Revenue Fund.

Natural gas prices have dropped nearly $6 per thousand cubic feet from earlier this year.
