Board Could Fire Sisney This Week

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Broken Arrow's School Board may fire its suspended superintendent on Thursday night.

Dr. Jim Sisney has said he will not appeal his suspension. And, it appears the Broken Arrow Board of Education is moving forward with his termination.

School board members Shari Wilkins and Sharon Whelpley called for Thursday's meeting. They're part of a three-member voting bloc, which pushed for Sisney's firing in the first place.

According to the board's published agenda, members may vote not to allow public comment during their meeting.
