Two Shot During Tulsa Home Invasion

TULSA, OK -- Two people are shot during a home invasion in north Tulsa on Friday night.  Tulsa Police say two men forced their way into a home in the 4700 block of North Birmingham Place around 6:30 p.m.

Police say the two suspects were demanding something from the people inside the home, but the armed suspects never said what the item was.

A woman inside the home was shot in the cheek.  A man was shot in the arm.  Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.  There were also five children inside the home.  They were not harmed.

Anyone who may have information on the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
