TULSA, OK -- Bruce Springsteen will play the BOK Center on April 7. Tickets go on sale Saturday, and there is already some confusion about how to get them.

The BOK Center will host its first ticket lottery Saturday morning, but you don't have to attend it to see Springsteen.

Although his Tulsa concert is more than two months away, the buzz about Bruce is starting to build at Starship Music store.

His new album is flying off the shelves, and fans are gearing up to get tickets.

"I hope to get some good ones," said Donny Gray, a Springsteen fan. "Maybe I won't, hopefully I do."

But BOK officials say there's been a misunderstanding about purchasing tickets. To prevent people from camping out, the arena will host a lottery at 9 a.m. Saturday.

"This is all mandated by Bruce," said Jerry Goldman, the BOK Center's assistant general manager. "He cares about his fans. He really is trying to give everybody a fair shot at getting his tickets and seeing his show."

Goldman says you don't have to participate in the lottery to secure a ticket.

Those fans may get the first shot at the best seats, but you can also call the box office, log onto tickets.com, or stop by any Reasor's location.

The BOK Center doesn't recommend waiting because the show is expected to sell out quickly.

It's Springsteen's first Oklahoma show in more than three decades, and fans plan to be there.

"It means a lot -- it means a whole lot (for Springsteen to perform in Oklahoma)," Gray said. "Especially at the new BOK Center. I can't wait to see him there."

Ticket prices range from $41 to $91. There has been some speculation that those prices are higher than other Springsteen shows on this tour, but officials say that is not true.
