OKLAHOMA CITY -- U.S. Senators are hammering out a way to fix the economy, and President Obama's stimulus plan has begun to push $1 trillion.
The President defends the cost of his plan, saying it is necessary to create jobs, but for many people, $1 trillion is a difficult number to grasp.
Charlie Dillard, a mathematician at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics broke down the number to easily describe how much money Obama wants.
According to Dillard, with $1 trillion, he could own 10 million convertible BMWs in different colors for every day for the rest of his life.
He said with $1 trillion, 5 million people could attend Columbia University for four years.
"If you spend a million dollars every day since Jesus was born, you still wouldn't have spent a trillion dollars," Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky).
Another mathematician said by stacking 1 trillion $1 bills, the stack would extend one third of the way to the moon.
