IDABEL, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities say nearly two dozen people were arrested in southeastern Oklahoma and Texas as part of a yearlong undercover probe targeting methamphetamine and prescription drug trafficking.

According to the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, most of arrests happened in Idabel and Hugo, and one person was taken into custody in Austin, Texas.

The U.S. Marshals Service, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and other agencies helped OBN execute 60 arrest and search warrants.

OBN spokesman Mark Woodward said Wednesday that small quantities of drugs and cash were confiscated and several weapons and vehicles were seized.

Woodward says those arrested face complaints of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

No names were released.
