Firefighters Respond To North Tulsa House Fire

TULSA, OK -- Crews with the Tulsa Fire Department were called to a house fire in North Tulsa.

The fire started shortly before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 3500 block of East Woodrow Place.

Captain Michael Baker, Public Information Officer with the Tulsa Fire Department, said firefighters arrived to find the roof on fire.

Firefighters said they were concerned the fire could spread to other homes nearby, but they were able to keep it from spreading.

Baker said the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

The Red Cross is assisting a family involved in the fire.
