BA Restaurant Owners Arrested In Drug Case

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Broken Arrow Police have arrested two restaurant owners for possession of marijuana.  They say 45-year-old Achene Meraou and 53-year-old Ben Meraou were taken into custody on Thursday night.

The brothers own Benali's Italian Restaurant in Broken Arrow.

Detectives searched their home and found over a pound of marijuana, $900 cash and a semi-automatic pistol.

Police say they have evidence marijuana was being distributed from the home, but don't believe the restaurant was involved.
