Fire Damages Downtown Tulsa Home Wednesday Morning

Tulsa Fire says when firefighters arrived, smoke was pouring from the home.  Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly, despite fighting strong winds.

A Tulsa home is damaged by fire Wednesday morning in the 100 block of East 26th Court.

Tulsa Fire says when firefighters arrived, smoke was pouring from the home.  Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly, despite fighting strong winds.

No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.

Fire officials say the fire started in a second floor bathroom and spread to the attic and roof. 

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Red Cross is assisting the family who lives in the home.
