TULSA, Oklahoma - A group of Tulsans is making sure children of homicide victims are not forgotten this season.

The United Coalition of Clergy bought Christmas presents for kids whose parents died at the hands of criminals this year.

Families got to come by Langston University in Tulsa and pick from a selection of gifts Monday night.

"A lot of times when they suffer from devastation they grow up feeling like no one cares and I just want them to know that the pastors in the city care about them," said Layla Caldwell of the United Coalition of Clergy "They probably didn't think they would get anything, so this helps a lot."

This is the second year for the group's efforts.
