Tulsa Public Schools is re-printing report cards for thousands of students. The cards that went out this past week may have incorrect information.
The problem only affects TPS students 6th grade and under, but it's about half of their 39,000 students. The district said a new format for report cards led to problems getting the information in the right place.
The district is changing the style of report cards to a new format, but the basic information is the same, just displayed in a new way on report cards. The issue does not affect report cards for the upper grades and parents can always get the correct information through the online system, PowerSchool.
Tulsa Public started notifying parents Thursday night about the problem through social media channels and a letter is going out next week. The district says the new, correct reports cards are expected to come out next week.
