Prisoner Transportation Service Shuts Down Following Escape Of Suspect
A prisoner transportation service in Texas is shutting down after a man accused of killing two people and burying their bodies in Okfuskee county escaped last week.
Investigators say Cedric Marks got loose from a transport van near Houston when it stopped at McDonald's. Marks was on the run for nine hours before officers found him hiding in a trash can.
Marks is accused of killing Texas couple Jenna Scott and Michael Swearingin, then burying them in rural Okfuskee County last month.
Texas Prisoner Transportation Services says it's closing because of new insurance rates.
