Traffic Stop Turns To Meth Bust In Sequoyah County
Sequoyah County deputies said they found 37 pounds of meth during a recent traffic stop.

A traffic stop turned into a huge meth bust in Sequoyah County. Deputies say Takla Carpenter was driving along Interstate 40 and didn't use her turn signal.
Deputy Colton Goff pulled her over and noticed the smell of burnt marijuana.
After searching the vehicle, he and his police dog found a suitcase in the passenger seat with 37 pounds of meth.
Carpenter was arrested and booked into Sequoyah County jail.
