OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Search warrants filed in the case of a slain University of Oklahoma ballet student name the suspect whom DNA identifies as her killer.

Police detectives filed a warrant last week to search the former Norman residence of Anthony C. Sanchez for a .22-caliber bullet. The detectives said they learned through their investigation that Sanchez, 25, was known to fire bullets into the walls of his home.

Jewell ``Julie'' Busken was shot once in the back of the head with a .22-caliber bullet after being abducted Dec. 20, 1996 from the parking lot of a Norman apartment complex.

Busken's body was found that night near Lake Stanley Draper. Besides being shot, she was bound and raped.

Oklahoma City police Capt. Jeffrey Becker said Wednesday that several search warrants have been filed across the state in the Busken investigation.

Last week's search returned a wooden board, insulation and a vapor insulation board. Police wouldn't say if a bullet was discovered.

Ronald Jones, of the Oklahoma City Police ballistics unit, examined the projectile removed during Busken's autopsy and determined a possibility exists that the projectile removed from her head could be matched to another bullet fired from the same weapon.

Until the court documents were filed, authorities had not released the name of the suspect. Authorities had announced a DNA match between semen found at the crime scene and a man incarcerated in Oklahoma.

Last month, a national DNA database made the initial link between Sanchez's DNA profile and the profile of Busken's killer.
