OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state House Friday passed a bill strengthening the Oklahoma Lemon Law.
The House voted 92-to-0 to send the bill to the state Senate for consideration.
The bill gives consumers instead of auto makers the option of taking a full refund or a replacement when a new car or truck breaks down and can't be repaired. It also limits user fees to ten percent of the value of the car, or ten cents per mile for each mile the car was driven before breaking down, whichever is less.
