WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) -- A woman charged with killing her missing 6-year-old son wants her trial moved.
Katherine Rutan is charged with murder in Woodward in the 2002 disappearance of Logan Tucker.
The boy's body has never been found but prosecutors believe he was killed and his body dumped at the local landfill.
Attorneys for Rutan -- who's also known as Katherine Pollard -- say media coverage of the case makes it impossible to get a fair trial in Woodward.
Rutan's attorneys are also asking to suppress statements made by the boy's younger brother.
Justin Daggett told social workers and an FBI agent his mother drove him and Tucker to a field where she left Daggett in the car and carried Tucker away -- then returned without him. Daggett also said Rutan was carrying a plastic sheeting and a shovel - quote - "to bury Logan."
