OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Members of an Oklahoma City business group that purchased the SuperSonics say they're disappointed people are scoffing at the notion of keeping the club in Seattle.

Members of the Professional Basketball Club helped make Oklahoma City a temporary home to the New Orleans Hornets after Hurricane Katrina. And there's speculation that the ultimate goal is to move the Sonics to Oklahoma City when the Hornets return to New Orleans after next season.

Clay Bennett, the leader of the group, and Ed Evans, one of its members, say that's just not so. They say they view the 350 million dollar purchase as a solid business opportunity.

They say they're committed to the Sonics' success next year and will work to persuade Seattle officials to help them replace or renovate KeyArena.
