GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) -- An 8-year-old boy from Moore dies in an accident on Interstate 35 in Logan County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that a pickup driven by 15-year-old Andrew Tucker of Guthrie was southbound on I-35 about 1 PM Sunday when it drifted off the roadway.

Tucker overcorrected his vehicle and it rolled, striking a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Rebecca Holcombe of Moore.

Neither Holcombe nor one of her passengers were injured, but 8-year-old Walker Holcombe, riding in the back seat, was taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Tucker and his passenger, 43-year-old Janette Tucker of Guthrie, sustained minor injuries.
