A woman has died from her injuries after her home exploded over the weekend.

The State Fire Marshal said last night that the 28-year-old mother has died but did not give release her name.

Her 8-month-old son still has life-threatening injuries.

The two were inside their Inola home when it exploded on Saturday.

Authorities think a gas or propane leak is to blame.

The mother and baby both suffered severe burns and were flown to separate hospitals in Tulsa.

One neighbor told News On 6 that he felt the blast and described it like a car hitting his home.

Others who live nearby told the Rogers County Sheriff's Office that they smelled gas the night before the blast.

The fire marshal has not given an update on the 8-month-old boy's condition.
