Tulsa Police are searching for two teens who, they said, robbed two women at gunpoint on Cherry Street.

This happened in the parking lot behind a restaurant on Cherry Street.

Police said the teens approached the victim’s car, and one of them asked for a dollar.

Police said the other teen then pulled a gun out and threatened to kill the women if they didn’t give them their belongings.

The two teens then took off running and have yet to be found.

Tulsa Police said this was unusual for the area and describe it as a crime of opportunity--meaning the victims were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Ofc. Jeanne Pierce/Tulsa Police)

Tulsa Police Officer Jeanne Pierce said “the two women just happened to be back there when these juveniles were looking for a victim. Unfortunately, they became that.”

Detectives are investigating this crime.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS. And you can remain anonymous.
