The American Health Care Association Requests Priority Vaccine Access For Nursing Homes

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living have sent a letter asking for priority when COVID vaccines are distributed. It asks that the residents and staff be the first to receive vaccinations when available because of the higher risk level of the residents.

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living have sent a letter asking for priority when COVID vaccines are distributed.

The letter was sent to the National Governors Association. It asks that the nursing home and assisted living residents and staff be the first to receive vaccinations when available because of the higher risk level of the residents.
