A Tulsa school is making sure parents have the tools they need to help their kids with distance learning.
Monroe Demonstration Academy hosted Friday what’s called “Parents of Success.” School leaders give parents one-on-one training on how to use online resources so they can help their child succeed while learning from home.
“We want to be able to provide opportunities for our parents to come up to Monroe to get the help and the support that they need in canvas, Powerschool, all of the different online apps that we have and really get some one-on one-support,” Principal Rob Kaiser said. “Making sure they have everything they need to feel empowered to help with their child's education.”
This is the third time Monroe has hosted this training.
