Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Thursday.

.CONSERVE, CONSERVE, CONSERVE: Oklahoma doesn’t want to have rolling blackouts again or the water supply to drop even lower than it is. Officials are urging you to cut back on power use and water. That means no long baths, but at least the dishes can wait, too.

.BE CAREFUL: Be safe on the roads Thursday, or even just walking around. EMSA is concerned that more people will be out and about, and they don’t want to see the number of falls and cold exposure calls increase as ice and snow melt.

.VACCINE PLAN: The state will give an update Thursday on Oklahoma’s vaccine distribution plan and the winter weather. The news conference is set for 2 p.m.

.WEATHER & COVID: The City of Tulsa will also give an update on the weather and COVID-19. The Tulsa Health Department has rescheduled about 8,000 vaccine appointments over the past week because of the weather.

.CLOSURES: All VA outpatient clinics are closed again Thursday in eastern Oklahoma. Cherokee Casinos will also stay closed until Friday at 1 p.m. Some state offices may be closed as well.

.HELP A LOCAL BUSINESS: Here’s a way to help a downtown Tulsa brewery that was impacted by a fire Tuesday. Marshall Brewing Company is repairing its taproom and can only offer curbside pick-up of bottles and cans. You can find information on how to order on the brewery’s Facebook page or their website here.
