Veteran Salute: Joe Brausen

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we recognize Army Sergeant First Class Joe Brausen.

Joe is a Vietnam veteran who served with the Cavalry.

he is now part of a team working with children who face different issues and fears by teaching them how to ride horses.

Those who nominated him said Joe is a source of hope and encouragement to those he encounters by sharing the hope he has found in his faith.

He is a source of pride for those in Oklahoma who know him.
